Exploratory projects

• Innovative, interdisciplinary and potentially risky (with few or no preliminary results)
• Duration: two years
• Frequency: every two years
• Procedure: submission of projects via Calls for Expression of Interest (Appels à Manifestation d’Intérêt, AMI). Go to the most recent calls for projects

Flagship projects

• Jointly constructed on a general theme proposed by the Management Committee (COPIL),
• Duration: maximum of four years
• Frequency: every two to three years
• Procedure: via the call for candidates to manage the project. For more information on the last call for candidates (secure access)

Submit ideas for consortia (networks)

• Interdisciplinary research networks or multi-actor consortia include non-academic partners. Their aim is to encourage, support and accompany scientific communities or networks linked to the field covered by the metaprogramme. They must produce at least one previously identified deliverable: compilation/organisation of a project, planning/organisation of a seminar/workshop, production of a publication or position paper, etc.
• Duration: 18 months
• Procedure: via the AMIs or on an ad hoc basis by directly contacting SANBA managers

Submit PhD projects

• Joint funding of one or two half-grants for PhD students each year.
• Frequency: annual
• Timetable: submission of applications in the autumn each year (September-October depending on the INRAE Division concerned).
• Procedure for the submission of applications: aligned with those of the INRAE Division to which the applicant is attached. For more information
